Well, we didn't win first place, but we did take 6th. I never mentioned that the 2-6 runners up would still receive some money.
So because of all you fantastic family, friends, other facebookers
the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation was given $100,000.00!!
Isn't something better than nothing!
We were neck and neck with the National Autism Org. which had Jim Carrey tweeting about it. So I would say that we did a pretty good job for our relatively new charity.
It was amazing to see that we did have some celebrity support.
If you go to our list of Jonas' SMA buddies on the side and find Gwendolyn Strong, it will take you to her blog and look for the post about "Incredible Support". They listed the celebrities that were posting on facebook, or tweeting about SMA. Pretty neat!
