I just wanted you to know that I found your blog by accident tonight. And then I couldn't stop reading. I'm crying as I write this. My little boy will be 2 this December. He was born with challenges, we've had disheartening news, but after tonight, I realize all of that pales. I'm humbled, and I'm empowered. Your son makes me want to be a better mother. You make me want to be a better person. Thank you so much for sharing your life.

-Haili Randall

(PS - I'm going to 'stalk' (follow, hehe) your blog now :) I'm cheering and praying for you all, specially your little baby angel on the way!)

I saw this on the news and a link to your blog... I had a dear friend with sma (3 in her family had it, to varying degrees) and just wanted you to know you have a beautiful little boy. You are wonderful parents and I hope you have many more days to enjoy Jonas and your little girl. My prayers are with you.

I follow Gwendolyn Strong and was going to send you a link, but it looks like you already have the link.

Looks like you have already found the magic and are spreading it!

I am very touched by your story. What a precious little boy!!! I grew up with a family that two of their five children had this. Such an amazing and wonderful family! If you are ever interested in getting in contact with them, I'd be happy to do what I can for you. Best of luck and many prayers! flutterbygirl3@gmail.com

You don't know me, but I saw your story on KSL, and was so touched. I wanted to tell you that you and your husband seem like the most wonderful, loving parents, and that Jonas was sent to you for that very, special reason. Good luck with you beautiful baby girl. I'm sure Jonas will LOVE having a sister.... :)

Oh, Lindsey!

Thank you to the person who sent me the link for the news story!

When I saw your family, heard you and Whit talking & saw Jonas there between you...

I just lost it.

I can't stop crying. I don't know why it brought everything home. I have been reading your blog for a long time and my family feels like they know you. My kids always ask about Jonas and how you are doing.

But somehow, when I saw all of you there, it really came home to me in a brand new way...how much you and Whit have fought and fought and fought for the life of your precious son - and now for your daughter, too.

When I think of courage, of not giving up in the face of insurmountable odds, of loving and giving and hoping and praying and never quitting, I think of you and Whit and Jonas and your Baby Girl.

I hate the suffering that makes all this courage possible, and I wish with all my heart that you didn't have to endure it.

Thank you - and I'm sure I'll say this many more times - for being a voice, for letting us know your son and your family. The impact you have is far beyond words.

I can't wait to show the news segment to our kids tonight.

We love you in Missouri,

Cathy Groves

I saw your sweet family on the news and had to link over. Its funny because just this morning channel 5 surpised my husband and i with the high 5 award for the fundraiser we did last month. I just wanted to tell you I admire you. Im thinking about you. My Makenzie passed away in December from SMARD. I hope you know you are inspiring people. In just the short amount of what I have read so far you are changing the way I think of things. Love Kendra

Wow Lindsey and Whit! I had no idea about any of this going on in your lives and then saw a link to the story on McCall's blog. What an amazing couple you guys make that Heavebly Father would trust you so much to send these special spirits to your family. Your family is in my prayers tonight for sure.

I live in Minnesota or else I would be at your carnival! We live in Rochester, Minnesota by Mayo Clinic, so if you guys ever need to come out here for any reason you'd be welcome to stay with us.

Lindsey and Whit, I saw the link to KSL from Tophams blog! Then I came to yours and I am in awe.... awe of how big and beautiful little Jonas is, awe at what amazing parents you are and all the fun things you do as a family,(I admit many tears have flown...especially seeing Whit make the fort! So cute) and at the strength you have each day! I wish you all the best, you deserve it!!! I also wish I was still @ PCMC (that is if he is there) and could see Whit working in action, I am sure he is an amazing nurse.

You guys have always been inspiring and I know your story on KSL will touch many hearts!

Much love
