Visit from Laura!

My BFF Laura came to town to visit. Laura worked with me at Bennion Elementary and we became really close friends. She is from New York and last year moved back home. We've missed her so much! Lucky us, we got to hang out with her for a good while. I haven't hung out with friends for who knows how long, so sorry Laura if I was boring.
Jonas took just a little bit to warm up to her, but once he did he loved her. He had to make sure that she wasn't going to make him work.

Having Laura come back reminded me of all the fun times we've had together. Of course the numerous days of teaching, but also the fun trips that we took together. We should have done more. One such trip was driving to New York. Yep driving, because Laura is terrified to fly. She was going home for the summer and so we drove her home and then flew back. I am so mad at myself! I took the worst pictures and hardly any at all. So ladies you need to email me yours. Hopefully you took better ones than I did. Anyway, it was really fun. I was 3 months pregnant with Jonas and I think back to how happy I was and get a little sad that I had no clue what was going to be, but that's another story. Maybe it was because we hiked up like 10 stories to get to blackmarket purses, that Jonas has SMA. Just kidding, probably not. Love you Wonder Woman and miss you lots!

Ferry to Statue of Liberty

I can't remember what this was called?

I just remember that we had to run to make the ferry and I was so afraid of running with Jonas (or sam at the time, hehehe). Look what good that did. Then we got off the ferry thinking it was Manattan when it was really Ellis Island. We are smart teachers!
