Who pressed fast forward?

Life has been on fast forward these past couple of months and it's about time someone turned it off. All of our journey's (at least planned ones :) ) are over and we are home for the summer. Now just trying to get into the routine of a regular work week for Whit and preparing ourselves for baby girl to come in September. It's getting a little hard to do things with Jonas as I continue to grow bigger. I wouldn't be complaining if Jonas could entertain himself, but fact is he can't. I feel super guilty letting him sit and watch movies all day, everyday, so I'm doing my best. We can still make it to the car and driving around is better than nothing, right? I hate not being able to do much on my own and rely on Whit for almost everything. Making these 5 day work weeks not much fun at all. Oh well!
Too much fun has been going on to quickly that I never got a chance to mention Jonas' 2 1/2 Birthday celebration. Or as Jonas' likes it..his Unbirthday. I sent out the memo of this celebration fashionably late, the day before, and as always had a great turnout from family and friends! Thank you for showing Jonas how much you love him. I wish that he could tell you or show you better how much he loves you, because he does.

Yup, these were about as good as pictures as I took. Sorry!
As the night came to a close, Jonas' bestest cousin Max stuck around to help him plant some seeds in the garden. It was his present to Jonas. The boys planted some carrots in the garden making the end of a great party!

Glad you guys had a fun summer! We LOVED getting to celebrate Jonas' un-birthday with him and Max will definitely want an update on the carrots;) I was so happy when I read your Santa Clara post, that was probably soooo great for Jono-man! We love you guys! Good luck these next few months!! We'll be praying extra hard for you all:)

We, too, are expecting a baby girl in September and I also feel bad about the amount of cartoons Nicholas has been watching lately. We have been driving around as well to appointments and Nicholas loves when I roll down the window and let the wind blow his hair. I think I am going to buy him a baby pool so we can get outside and enjoy some sunshine. I just wanted to tell you not to feel too bad since much of the same is going on here :)

I love the idea of seeds for a gift! That and your blog reminds me of simple, wonderful things!

Happy Unbirthday, Jonas!!! Don't feel bad about the things you think you should be doing for Jonas, just know you do your best and he loves you for that:) Hugs to you three (and a half:)).
