Was Halloween really just a week ago? Which I guess is good, so this post really isn't that late, right.
We had such a wonderful Halloween like so many others. The weather was PERFECT! So much better than last year, rainy. It's kind of weird to think last year I had two little angels with me.
Huh, hate how time flies.
Well, we had a fun time with all our Fall Festivies... pumpkin carving was a big one this year. After watching the Food Network pumpkin challenges we all were inspired to be master carvers.
Maggie was not afraid to get her hands dirty in this project. She was very willing to be the pumpkin seed picker-outer. I have about a billion pictures of her very seriously playing with her pumpkin goo.
She was a major fan. I put an old t-shirt on her, which was huge, so she could get as dirty as we wanted.
Whit was the master carver, he got a lot of compliments from our Trick-or-Treaters
What a scary group of people
We started out our beautiful Halloween day with a walk and early morning trick-or-treating to Grammie and Papa's. It's been a little tradition that Jonas and I started. We were always alone on Halloween day because Whit was working. So instead of waiting around all day we started early and made a whole day out of it.
(Jonas' first Halloween lunch to Taco Bell :) )
Since we are lucky to have Whit now, we thought we'd go out and have some more exciting lunch..we went to Ruth's Diner (just a bit nicer than Taco Bell) hoping to sit out in the beautiful canyon, but the outside dinning was already closed. Inside was just great too!
We couldn't stop there...we had to go see something spooky, so we went to Gardner's Village to see the witches. Funny that we didn't take any good pictures with the witches though.
After a very short nap, we had a costume change, visited Grandma and Grandpa, hurried back to go trick-or-treating in our stander (because of the short nap only hit three houses, but that was plenty) and headed in for the night.
Oh I love the holidays!! Such a fun Halloween and an all around great October!
