Aloha Goodbye

Our last couple of days were some of the best. Isn't that how is usually works..go figure. Well we found some of the best beaches for Maggie and the weather only started to improve. A local sent us to a beach park not far from our condo that is so great for kids. Maggie got to be all the way in the water...none of this just toes business... and protected. She had a BLAST with her daddy!
preparing for a major splash
just kidding..faked ya out

Papa found her the best shell! She loved swishing it back and forth.
We stayed there for the morning, had lunch, played some more and then when she was good and ready for her favorite car naps, we drove back over to Kihei. Surprise, surprise it was windy over there too. We had high hopes of good snorkeling, but instead we played in the big surf while Maggie enjoyed yet another movie.
Just so I'll remember, this was the beach where we thought for sure we could hear the whales while under the water. It was fun trying to watch everyone stay under long enough to hear whatever sound we were hearing. It was dory speaking whale. ;)
The self timer camera mode was a little dark, so here's another minus Whit and of course Maggie.
I know I'm short guys, but honestly I never feel that short and then I look in pictures...man I'm short!
The beloved shave ice....so yummy! Maggie really enjoyed this!

We went to one last beach, which was PERFECT in every way, but alas we left our battery to the camera charging back at the condo. Boo. So lame. This is from my sister-in-laws Facebook page that I stole. Maybe I can get her to send me some more.
As you can see it had a huge reef where the waves would break maybe way out there. You could walk all the way out and the water would never go higher than your waist. It was awesome for snorkeling and playing in the water. So it had a little bit of everything for everyone. Very enjoyable!
Nobody is ever ready to be done on a trip, but it can never last forever. We had such a great time! Thank you so much Taylor and Arica for inviting us to come with you.

Only one person missing from these wonderful Paradise pictures.

And you know who it is.

Miss you much, Jonas.

So, so, so, so glad you got to go.
