We are soaking up every last bit of summer as we can and I guess when I
say summer I mean the pool. We call it the club. Our pool closes when school starts and
unfortunately that is right around the corner. Oh we are going to be so
sad. We literally have gone almost everyday and maybe even twice in a
day. We permanently smell like chlorine and although we put sunscreen on
every time, we have some good tan lines. Maggie's are the best, cute
little cracks behind her legs, in her wrists and her neck. Maggie moves so freely in the water and it's so much easier to play with her hands in the water. She LOVES to sing 'If you're Happy and you know it Clap your Hands' and she will clap her hands together! So, so cute! Then she will take Sebastion and hide him behind her back and then bring him around like 'where'd he go, oh there he is!'. She loves to jump into the water from the side (I'll sit her up on the edge and then lift her high to come back into the water). Then she giggles so much when I hold onto her head and float her away from me saying, 'Goodbye Maggie, see ya later' then pull her back in close and say 'Boo'. It's been such good therapy as well as great social interaction. We have a lot of good friends that we see on a regular basis and then some people we only get to see at the club.
This summer we've met some really nice new friends just from swimming. They're another thing we are going to miss about the club. These three cuties knew about Maggie from other friends, family and our awesome Spread Magic Around Carnival. So when we became swim buddies they wanted to give Maggie a little present. This present was special because it was from money they earned on their own. Kids amaze me! The glare makes it hard to see what it is, but it's a darling Tinkerbell doll! Maggie stared at it the whole way home. They were all so sweet when giving it to her, but Josh was particularly kind and even gave her a big hug after. So glad for the club and for the time it allows us to spend with awesome families like this. There isn't a day that we don't see someone we know and the kids who are always saying 'Hi' to Maggie, even swimming with her, playing with her, giving her their toys to hold onto.
Good times, I hate to see it end!
Juliet, our cute neighbor/swim buddy.
Wish I would bring my camera more often so I could take a picture of more swim buddies, but I never bring it. Hmmm, we'll have to remember that for next summer.

I know some of those cute little friends, too! They're in my ward! What sweeties. Kids can recognize exceptional spirits around them, so of course they are drawn to Maggie!
