It took some time, but I made it possible to keep adding photos. So here we are at the beginning of December celebrating 2 wonderful birthdays, in the most wonderful place, having a wonderful time.
It would have been Jonas' 5th birthday and unfortunately it was my 30th. I think they both deserve a Disney celebration. So to Disneyland we went! The last time we were in Disneyland during the holidays was when we went for Jonas' Make-A-Wish. That was such a magical memory and it was very tender remembering him while there.
We are so grateful to our wonderful sister-in-law and husband that let us stay at their home. It made things that much cheaper and of course so much fun to be with them! They spoiled us!
Look who we ran into...Maggie was doing her best Queen impersonation.
We had such a great time with these two! Thanks for joining us and being so nice to do the Maggie way of Disney.
Dumbo...thinking of Jonas the whole time and remembering the feel of his little body in my lap.
We had to see Max for our little Max!
We kept trying to go on Alice in Honor of Jonas, but it was always closed due to the rain. :(
This is the really impressed face that we get half the time while at Disney.
Even though Alice was closed, we at least got to go on Casey Jr. and it was the best!!!!
Flash Back to the last time Jonas' went on Casey Jr.
Alice and the Mad Hatter were wandering around and how could we not have stopped for Jonas!
Flash Back to our Favorite Alice of all time.
Like I said before, there were a lot of sweet memories remembered, places visited, and even new memories made. Maggie met Sleeping Beauty and I think she was really impressed.
I had to show this second photo, because I think it's so awkward it's funny. Why did I stay in the middle?
We actually drove home on my actual birthday, but our last day in the parks, Whit surprised me with a dinner reservation and a World of Color show! It was so nice and eased the pain of turning 30!
Maggie slept through most the dinner, but woke up at the perfect time...dessert time. She loved tasting with us and then fishing around for the blueberry.
Watching the World of Color show with eyes glued to the water...this was the icing on the cake for a really wonderful trip. It reminded me of one sweet little boy with his daddy.
Happy Birthday Jonas! I loved spending every minute with you and I love that I get to relive some of those special moments with your sister.
