A nice 9:00am start to Christmas morning. Maggie seemed to be acting a little more energized and ready to open some gifts.
She was sure spoiled by Santa! Gus really did a great job telling him how nice she is and all that she deserved.
One of her favorite gifts from her Daddy...a Tinkerbell music box with our favorite song playing.
Even though she didn't feel great, she still was intrigued with all the presents that were for her and opening everyone.
We had to try out some of our dress-up accessories with our new baby doll!
Dad joined in and I had to document my favorite Christmas gift...a clean shaven face!!!!
As the day went on Maggie stayed about the same, but really tired. We knew her blood counts had to be low because of how pale she was. By that night, she spiked another fever and after being on antibiotics for five days it didn't seem quite right. We managed to stay home for the most important times of Christmas, but knew it was time to do what was best for her. We headed to the ER at about 8 pm and it was there that we finished out our Christmas Day.

so so bummed you had to spend Christmastime in the hospital. Maggie looks so much like Lucy in that bottom picture when she is asleep. We are so glad you are home and hope for a healthy year this year!!
Yay for the Christmas shave!! Haha, we love you guys! Glad Maggie was home for Christmas morning at least!!
