Whit wanted some new pictures... so here you go Whit. :) Geez, can't you wait just a little bit before we brag about you. We are all very proud of you!!!
Whit and I had our first night away from Jonas the night of the amazing U game. The Nursing College does a night to welcome the new students. It was called the Lamp of Learning.
Whit was introduced, took a picture with the Dean and President of the Nursing College, took a class photo, and signed the photo to be hung in the new Nursing Building.
It was a great night to remind them all what amazing people nurses are. (We new that already, with all of our experiences and friends)
The highlight was an appearance made by Florence Nightingale. Now you might ask yourself, "isn't she dead", and the answer is no my friends. Florence is alive and kickin', she was there all in her 1800's outfit and tellin' her story.
Now to be honest...the whole thing was kind of dull. It was good to have Whit be recognized and then to be able to have some amazing pictures.
This is a sweet contraption that we've learned from other families. My mom sewed the arm sling and now Jonas can defy gravity with one arm at least. I think he enjoys the freedom to move his own arm. That is his favorite book page... the beach. What a good boy.:)
