On our final day we luckily ran into another one of our buddies from Utah, Riley at the Breakfast Buffet. Seriously Disney is such a great place for a conference because of the food that they can provide. They had my favorite blueberry muffin that I always buy in the park, in mini mode. I had like five! Then we went on our way to make the most of our last day.
Toy Story Mania!
enjoyed a little more time over in Car's Land and tried one of their specialty drinks...Ramone's Pear of Dice. It was refreshing!
Perfect timing as we walked into Disneyland and ran into these bunch of crazies. Maggie enjoyed them all, but probably the Queen of Hearts the most. Her and her villains!
Had to see our good pal Tigger, he's always so fun
Rabbit's so sweet and Maggie is finally getting the hang of meeting her friends.
But not just with Mommy...while the rest of the gang went on Splash Mountain, we waited in Pooh Corner until Pooh Bear came. Way to hot for her liking and was D.U.N. done by the time he came.
That kinda wiped us out for the rest of the evening. She did so great all morning long, but by the time 4 o'clock rolled around she was super junky, super tired, and just had spent all her Disney energy.
Final picture before Maggie threw in the towel. The only thing that sparked her interest was the parade music. We contemplated staying and watching that, but we had our final dinner reservation for Father's Day coming up and so in order to avoid a total meltdown and episode, Whit ran back to the room and did a treatment on Maggie. The ultimate best Father!
I ended up walking the WHOLE park on a quest to find Maggie a Bubble Blower gun that I had seen all week and finally decided that would be way fun to have. Of course they were SOLD OUT everywhere! How does that happen at Disneyland?! Aren't they suppose to have infinite amount of everything. So depressing.
Without a bubble gun and with Maggie still junky and not totally up to par we met up at the Big Thunder Mountain Ranch BBQ to celebrate these two amazing men in our lives.
This trip wouldn't have been an utter failure if we didn't have such a wonderful Daddy to take care of both us girls. Whit is so selfless pretty much 99% of the time and never asks to do anything for himself and never complains. Like ever!
My Dad is also a dad who would and does anything for his children.
We love them both!
Grammie completed the magic by finding the only remaining bubble gun over in a little stand by Toy Story Mania! It was meant to be! She was the Hero of the night!
As you can see Maggie was sad to leave...or maybe she was sad that she wasn't in the car yet. Either way after 10 days of being away it was time to return. A good time to go too, because Maggie did catch my cold and the whole way home really wanted her Trilogy. We made it home in record timing and needed to. Her battery was close to running out..could have been a very bad situation.
It was a trip filled with ups and downs.
Laughter, tears, and most important Magic!!
