Relaxin Pool Side at Disney

Saturday of our trip was our most relaxing, one of Whit's favorite days. 

We let Maggie be the judge of when we should get up and it was a late one...11 o'clock. 

Our little princess needed her beauty sleep to feel rested and ready. 

It worked out great though because the morning fog doesn't burn off until then anyway. So when we finally made it down to the pool the sun was out and it was perfect!

 

 Uncle Logan finished his Senior Trip in Newport and decided to finish the rest of our trip with us! Yay!

 The pool area was a great place to see a bunch of our SMA buddies! This is Maggie and Noah, our friend from Utah! And then we met another buddy from Utah that Whit has helped out at the hospital. Presley also has SMA, type III though.

 

 We had to venture over to the sweet Monorail Slide pool. While the big guys went down, we played with the fun fountains off to the side.

 I told you the pool was the hot spot to see our friends! While eating lunch at the Tangaora Terrace, which was very reminiscent of our Hawaii Trip...aww memories, we saw Veronica, Hayden and Gwendolyn! Maggie met Veronica when we went to Disney World, but has never met Hayden and Gwendolyn...they were Jonas' buddies. Fun for her to meet them and it was great to see everyone again!

Our next reservation dinner was at the California Grand Hotel restaurant, Storyteller's Cafe. It was a yummy buffet! The best part....my favorite strawberry ice cream!! I found this out too late otherwise, my dinner might have consisted of a couple more bowls. Probably a good thing I didn't find that out till the end. :) But Maggie is just as much a fan of this ice cream as I am!

 

Our night ended with the FSMA Pajama Party and Movie Night. We were way late, but that was for the best so I limited my interactions. It was cool...the hotel had brought down a ton of extra pillows and sheets, so the families could lay on the floor on pillows and really relax. Disney popcorn was available and had I known that I wouldn't have gone to the buffet and just eaten popcorn! It's such good popcorn! They had Monster's Inc playing on a giant screen and candy available as well. Pretty darn cool.

 

Seeing our friend Gwendolyn once more... both girls are so funny. Maggie was making the weirdest faces and Gwendolyn was pretending to be asleep.
