Sorry to leave you all in the dark. Jonas is doing pretty well. His fever came and went last week and we thought that maybe because he had been vaccinated things passed over quickly. For the most part they did. We actually made it to our family gathering in St.George for the weekend. Jonas got to watch a lot of softball and see his awesome cousin, Mckenzie, throw some mean pitches.
We knew that he wasn't 100% yet, still a lot of secretions and very thick ones. Yesterday night after his nap, he woke up so grumpy and running a fever again. We immediately contacted our doctor..she said that this is pretty common with H1N1. Everyone is having a second round about a week later but it's not necessarily the flu virus. It is something else, usually a bacterial pneumonia. I guess the H1N1 just swipes out your immune system and then other germs take advantage of that and move in. Needless to say we were just doing the great debate of taking him up to Primary's ER to get some antibiotics via shot or IV.
I can't tell you how grateful I am to have Dr. Swoboda as our doctor, that we have such a good relationship with her, and that she is the person that she is. She called us back and told us another option that she just discussed with another doctor friend. Of course it was a better, easier option..so Jonas is on some big meds that we were able to get at Walgreens.
As of right now, Jonas is mending quite quickly. He has not had another fever, he woke up happy, less thick secretions, but still needing his bi-pap to gain back his reserve.
So thankful for medicine!!!

Lindsey, I am so glad to hear he is on the mend. I have as always had you all in my daily prayers, with a lot of extra ones in between. I wish I lived closer so I could do more for you all than just pray.Love you all, Erin (Mathie) Berreth

I have been thinking about you guys, I'm so glad that he is doing better. I love that first picture with you and Jonas, so cute. Give him a big hug from the Lunt family!
I love that picture of the boys in the pool. It probably would have been better without Nick in it, but what can you do? I'm glad to hear that Jonas is on the mend.
