Halloween Day and Night!

First off, I think that we need to have 32 days of October or Halloween needs to be on the 30th. It's almost the 2nd of November already and I am so behind in our Halloween events. I kind of hate one long post, so I broke this up into smaller posts that way each event kind of as its own glory.

Jonas and I were lucky enough to have dad all day long!! What a great day! We set off to Logan's football game and then out to lunch with the crew. All the while being dressed up! I love to dress up. It's so fun. Nothing spectacular this year, though.
Then we headed over to Grammie and Papa's to do a speed pumpkin carving session. Jonas used his little switch toy and repeated over and over..."Happy Halloween, What are you doing, Cool pumpkins, I'm Peter Pan, Boo!" We've discussed Halloween a lot and I think he finally understood that this day was a different day than others. Every time I talked about what he was going to be for Halloween, he got very quiet and listened closely. Finally putting on his Peter Pan costume was exciting.Jonas "talking" while we carve away
Jonas was not phased by this scary man..instead he looked at him like,
'am I supposed to know you?'
This is a much nicer looking person...cause it's Grammie!

The time for trick-or-treating came and we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa's to met up with them and the Coleman's. Livvy and Calli were so so cute to Jonas. They would each grab a piece of candy for Jonas and put it in his pumpkin. Calli wasn't pleased with just that and she kept taking candy out of her sack and giving it to Jonas. So sweet!! A scary movie is always in order on Halloween night, so we watched Icabod Crane and the Headless Horseman. Man am I having some nightmares! Well actually that is all I can handle. Not much of a scary movie fan. We had a great time and loved having the girls to go with!Trick or treat!
checking out the candyGrandma and Me..I was a little tired

Oh my, Andrew LOVES the one piece jump suits that he inherited from his Grandpa. That last picture made me laugh.

I LOVE Jonas' costume. How adorable, is he? Your haircut is adorable. The pictures of his Grandma's holding him make my heart melt but of them all, I love the one of you holding him next to the big pumpkin in the post below. His smile is so great. What a wonderful holiday for you guys.
