All in one day

For Maggie's 2 month celebration we thought we'd spend it in the hospital.
Clinic to be exact, so it was a visit that was meant to happen.
Long story short, Jonas' pulmonologist wanted to observe Jonas before he would write a script for his new machine. So to do that we needed to go into clinic at Primary Childrens. When Dr. Swoboda learned of that, she suggested we do Jonas' check-up as well as an informal check-up on Maggie.
So....
We we sat in one room from 10:00 - 4:00 and during that time...
Jonas got a flu shot, a blood draw, and a finger prick. As well as getting shocked by the electrodes. He was switched over to his Trilogy, which he did amazingly well. He couldn't even tell.
Maggie was lucky enough to get away with just shocks, but she did get it for quite a long time.
Both had all sorts of measurements taken, weighed, and examined.
I guess it doesn't seem like much, but it was a long day.
Abby and Dr. Swoboda. Amazing babysitters, we actually got to eat lunch because of these two

What did we learn...
Jonas is 33lbs and 41 inches long
Maggie is 9 lbs 11 oz. and 21 inches long
Jonas is still weak, but not necessarily getting any weaker. He likes his Trilogy. He is such a trooper when it comes to pokes, he will endure anything as long as he is watching his puppies(Lady and the Tramp).
Maggie is staying steady. We put her on some medicine that is suppose to help with muscle fatigue, we think that has made a difference. It's hard to say for sure. She likes to be held. She is not so nice when it comes to pokes and she will let you know about it for a long time afterward.
What a fun day huh!

It definitely sounds like a long day. Those trips are necessary and even enjoyable, but they completely sap me of all energy and motivation for the rest of the day.

I'm sorry they had a not-great day. I know how lousy those checkups can be. Hugs to you.
