Oh this girl...

...is not like her brother.
It was really mean to be given such a good baby first. As we all know Jonas is the mellowest little boy ever. Always have been. I know he didn't always have the choice, but calm is just in his nature.
Not so for Maggie.
She cries the majority of the time, grunts throughout her sleep, and just wants to be held all the time. Doesn't really care for her binkie, has to sleep pretty much straight up, and is full of gas.
Now I don't think that I can blame her too much... she's on three medications that all make your tummy hurt.

(sitting in what we call the medicine chair)
Now on this same note, she is getting better. She is learning how to do this..
and even though she doesn't eat as much as Jonas did at this age, she's growing.
She is now officially a 9 lb 4 1/2 oz. baby. The clothes that I was expecting her to fit in right after she was born, she has almost grown out of! I might have to change outfits multiple times a day, just so we at least wear them once.

She is still moving well, everything looks normal. We of course are super wary and always looking for a sign. Her head control is something that we are concerned about and every now and then she will cough. It's like a ticking time bomb and we are on edge waiting for it to go off. There isn't much we can do about it, so all we know to do is enjoy it while we still have it.

LOL, I totally hear ya. It was the same for us. Nakota is finally doing a lot better though. The first couple of months were hard. Keep your chin!
Maggie is adorable and I have to tell you she moves a lot more than Brynlee ever did, yay! She is going to be a strong little girl!

I suppose this is partly where we're counseled to find joy in our trials. I was hard for me - until I realized that I HAD a crying babe to hold. Then I was grateful my arms weren't empty, yet.
That was meant with a tremendous amount of love - I hope it didn't sound critical. It's just a reflection on my experience.
