The weather has just been PERFECT lately. Makes me excited for fall, but then again I'm already missing summer. We've had the absolute best summer and I hate to see it go. Hopefully we will have a great fall and not move too quickly into winter, because this little girl loves to be outside. Our new thing, since the pool is closed, is going "walking"...
Looking out the window to see what's waiting for us outside.
After checking out all we can see on the deck we head down the ramp to the front yard....love this ramp!!!
Love
Perfect height for grabbing the flowers
We're pretty sure that her lung as popped back open. When off her bi-pap she sats consistently 98 or higher. She still uses her bi-pap for naps and maybe always will at this point. We've seen big changes since this illness, and that's just part of the reality. Her trunk support has decreased significantly which makes her head control that much harder. Biggest difference is controlling her secretions, swallowing. It gets the best of her and at times she's very panicky about it. So our good friend the suction has become are constant companion again. All in all, I think we are over the worst of it.
Which leaves us more time to "walk"

So glad she is doing better, but sorry that her strength has decreased. That is great that she is able to get outside and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us.
Thanks for taking the time to update. She is such a beautiful girl.
Looks like a fun day!! We are sad to see summer go away too :(
Thank you for sharing your lovely walk! I bet she captures the heart of every person she strolls past! I've been checking to see if sweet BIG girl has been feeling better and I'm so glad she is. You are an incredibly devoted mother and it shows.
WoW! That (taking a walk with the child) was something I never got to do with our Joseph. I'm so glad for you to have that opportunity. Your daughter is VERY PRETTY!
