The Birthday Girl's Day

Maggie's 1st Birthday landed on Saturday, which is just the best day ever because Whit is home all day! 

Considering Maggie had (has...don't know yet the status on her lung) a collapsed lung we tried to take it easy so that she could have her energy for her little birthday gathering.

 The morning started with our first nebulizer treatment... our home health feels that Bubbles the Fish is the most effective way for Maggie to do her treatments... they're lucky that she kind of can. We are currently trying to find an attachment so she can use it with the bi-pap. 

Home health, so helpful and sometimes so not.

The rest of the day was full of alot of baking, sleeping, and we even snuck some pool time in there. 

I had to let her go swim at the pool on her birthday! It's her favorite! But of course...forgot the camera.

Later that evening we had our families and friends over for a little BBQ bash in our backyard.

 Maggie wore her bi-pap for half of the party which was kind of a bummer, but we're doing our best to keep her out of the hospital.

She was being too dainty, so we all tried to help...

That she did not like... as we all know when it's your party you can cry if you want to!

She was sure spoiled by all that came and all the presents that were given!!!

She's in love with all her new toys and having a great time playing with everything. 

I just love this little girl and so proud of her and who she is. 

She is so full of life, so smart, so strong, so funny, has such a fun, spunky, naughty, sweet, big personality!!

I am so beyond grateful to have her in my life.
