Another Angel

Just when you think that you're on the verge of feeling happy, another stab to the heart comes. Our little friend Karson passed away yesterday.

I know that he is in such a better place, free from SMA, free from all the medical problems, but it still hurts. I hurt for his mother, for his dad, and his big sister. We are so sorry!
We first met Karson in the PICU at Primary Childrens when Jonas was just getting over his pneumonia. We shared a room for a night actually. Poor little Karson was not doing good, but he was such a fighter. He fought so many problems that came along with SMA. It was so nice to be able to talk to his mom and dad and try to give them some hope for what life could be with Karson. They did everything they could for Karson and he lived a happy life!
I know Jonas was there waiting for Karson to give him a hug and welcome him to heaven. They are probably missionary buddies together having fun, sharing the gospel, and watching over us.
We will miss you Karson!
