Mickey & Minnie's Magic (Day 5 cont..)

Disney was all started with a little mouse named Mickey. Everyone loves Mickey, he's the best right! Well to be honest, Jonas didn't really care for Mickey all that much. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse was his least favorite show on Playhouse Disney. He cared far too much for Pooh Bear and his friends to think about Mickey, I guess. That changed when he met them first hand. It started with Minnie...to say she was kind would be an understatement. She took a real interest in Jonas and was going to do her best to show Jonas she thought he was pretty special.

she kissed him and tried her hardest to wake Maggie up...

she insisted on getting the whole family together for the picture and she didn't mind taking her time. We thanked her and went on our way. Mickey was over in the other corner, but we have seen him in the past, his line was really long, and we were trying to get everyone we hadn't met. We hit up Pluto without his kitchen attire on and then was heading out of the park over to California Adventure.
While walking out Minnie was heading in and spotted us. She came right over, grabbed my arm and lead us to see Mickey. She wanted Jonas to see Mickey and her together. Mickey was talking to someone else right then and so while we were waiting Minnie started posing. Kind of funny, I couldn't just let her sit there without taking a photo. So I was taking pictures of Minnie while she made us wait for Mickey.

When Mickey came over, they were so so sweet to Jonas. I've said this before, but they do such a good job of talking without talking. It seemed like a really long time that they interacted with us. I was kind of in shock that this was happening and trying to make sure pictures where being taken, doing the interpreting between Jonas, Minnie, Mickey, trying to hurry because I didn't want them to think I expected all of this time, etc. I hadn't noticed that the cast members had created this sort of wall around us. My mom said that when others tried to go up to Mickey and Minnie, the cast members replied, "sorry this is a private meeting" or something like that. So nice!! This was all spontaneous and the doing of one sweet little mouse with a big heart, Minnie!!

they kissed...

and again tried to get Maggie to wake up.
Needless to say we went right into the gift shop and bought Jonas a Minnie and Mickey of his own. I love, love, love that this happened. I think every child deserves to be treated special and I'm just so happy that Jonas got his chance to feel that. So grateful that someone was kind enough to bestow that much energy and love onto my little boy.
We truly did have a magical trip!!
