For awhile now Maggie has decided that she needs to be the one in control of her treatments. If I try to suction her she will clamp her mouth shut and block her mouth with her hands. So we started letting her hold it with us. Now it's all by herself. She will reach for her suction catheter and put it in her mouth. The other day she decided that she would use the mask for coughs all by herself. Of course she couldn't have really done it, but she likes to think she can.
The best is when I'm coughing her, she still has the suction catheter in hand, and will try to suction Pooh Bear. She is a character!
One of the best things that Maggie can do, is give herself her binkie. We absolutely LOVE that she has the ability to manipulate her binkies. Put them in her mouth, take them out, play with them, whatever. This is a little photo by photo of her switching out binkies. Something so little, but so huge for Maggie Boo!

She is such a big girl! Her own coughs, suction and binks! I love it! She is doing so wonderful! I so love that little girl! Funny how I have seen her in person all but once or twice and I am just so in love with her and those eyes! Gorgeous determine little chick!!! Loves! Mindy and Pres
