We have been having so much fun this past week as we've been counting the days down until school starts. It doesn't affect us really, except our neighborhood swimming pool closes. Maggie has been a fish and swimming all day long. She loves it! Then all it takes is a little germ to somehow make it's way to Maggie and we get this...
Completely stuffed nose, coughing, fever of 102.5, and heart rate of 200. Poor little girl was just miserable today. I moved her to the floor to try and play and get things moving around, but I guess it was a better spot to sleep.
I ended up doing coughs 4 times before 5 o'clock, she slept for the majority of the day, and then by 8 o'clock at night her spirits started to lift and I actually got a smile and some nice words.
She went to bed on a good note, but you can't be too sure. Things change way to quickly.
Oh I hope she sleeps good tonight, that it was the peak of the sickness, that tomorrow she can feel 10x better, and that just as fast as this came that it can go away. We have way more fun to be had!

I just wanted to say I have been reading about your beautiful children for about 6 months... And I think you are an incredible Mom! Your babies are so beautiful and as a Mommy of four I can just tell they are so loved. Thank you for making me more aware of SMA and for sharing about your experience. I hope she's feeling better! we are getting ready for another trip to DWorld and London asked where Maggie was and when I told her she couldn't come she asked for her autograph book. we all miss her!!
Ah! I wish I could just take that away from Magg's and give it to myself! I would in a heartbeat!
I hope she gets a good night's sleep and that she is feeling much better tomorrow. I'm sorry that is so scary when she gets sick.

It amazes me how much she and Jonas resemble each other. I know they're siblings so it makes sense that they do. But I think they REALLY resemble each other. I hope that brings you comfort!

Awwww. I hope your little peanut starts feeling better fast, I absolutely hate when these kids get sick, so stressful and sad. Lots of hugs.
