First Friend Party and more...

Maggie was invited to her first friend birthday party! Her darling little friend was turning 4 and all though Maggie is still only 2 1/2 she wanted her to come. It was perfect timing as she dropped off her invitation to Maggie as we were outside which made it super easy for Maggie to see her and accept.

It was a Saturday afternoon and perfect weather for an outside party. Both Whit and I went and that made a first for all of us! It was sweet and simple and surpassed all my expectations of how Maggie would respond to all of it. Right from the get go she was very excited to hold her gift and walk over to her friends' house. After a little chatting and waiting for everyone to arrive, they started them off with a dance off...also known as freeze dance. 

To say that Maggie enjoyed that would be an understatement. She was having the time of her life!

Giggling, smiling, squealing, all of it! She was having so much fun not only dancing, but watching all the kids dance too! It was fantastic!! She got a little tired after awhile in Daddy's arms, but that didn't stop the enjoyment. I never want to forget how happy she was in those moments!

 

 

Maggie has two new little cousins that have been added to the family. Aunt Arica and Uncle Taylor love to bring over their new puppies for Maggie to watch and try to play with. And I should add that we love it too! The puppies are very curious and very willing to share their kisses, so we don't have too many photos with them. Maggie likes to watch them wrestle and call them to come over. We love that they aren't even phased by the sounds of her machines. Maybe we're training them to be companion dogs. ;)

 

 Oh and we've done casts once more for her little feet. Being sick for so long doesn't help her tight ankles. This time round we got to make them pretty ourselves...thanks to Aunt Arica's great drawing skills!

 Loving our roses....we went onto pull it apart with, "he loves me. he loves me not"...of course we ended with 'He Loves Me'!
