To finish out our special day of Princesses, we were surprised with a special invite to sit in the VIP seating for the Firework show. This special invite came randomly from one of the parade managers while we were watching the BEST parade ever, Mickey's Soundsational Parade. It's one of Maggie's favorite albums to listen to at home and it is always so fun to see her recognize the music and then get to see some special people along with it.
Anyway, we ended up sitting right where the workers gather together and discuss their plan of attack to manage the parade. We chatted with him a little before the parade nothing much, but after the parade was over he started asking us if we were going to see the fireworks tonight. We expressed that we love the fireworks, but its a bit challenging for Maggie to wait that late sometimes and we weren't sure. That's when he invited us to the VIP section and that they would have a bench reserved for us to sit and watch! WOW! Never expected that! I wish everyone could get the opportunity to sit right in the perfect spot. Apparently if you pay for one of the tours that they offer you can sit there, or obviously be a celebrity(which I guess they probably pay for too), or get a very kind worker to invite you to sit there.
We headed right back to the room so that Maggie could have a calm peaceful nap and give her the best chance of staying up late and doing well. Luck was with us that night because she did a great job! Any other night would have been a disaster. It was the perfect night and perfect show! So grateful for such a wonderful opportunity. It was truly Magical!
Oh these two...just love them. It was so nice to have Maggie sit comfortably on our laps while both of us could snuggle close to her and be so close together as a family.
This particular Firework show is the last one Jonas ever saw. I remember being as close to him as I could while his Daddy held him up high to see. We cried feeling as if this was the last time we would be here together. A couple of "his" songs came on which was even more tender. Those same songs reminded us of him once again and again we cried as we watched Dumbo fly through the sky. Our Jonas was there completing the magic for the night.
