Jonas and Maggie update

Today has been pretty up and down. Good moments and bad. A lot of sleeping and a lot of coughing. Last night was ok, but he was so miserable all night. Moaning in his sleep and never fully resting. This morning he was pretty unresponsive. Not really opening his eyes during his treatments. However, by this evening he was ready to pick out a movie to watch, he picked cars. He couldn't quite stay awake and we all know how he can never fall asleep while watching a movie. He's pooped. It's officially just a common cold. Amazing how it takes such a toll. Things don't seem to feel as serious, but you never know. Right now we are grateful for another night.
Maggie is fighting hard. It hasn't seemed to hit her too hard. Eating has been a little iffy and you can see it in her eyes. They're red and puffy. Her nose doesn't seem to be that stuffy, but you can hear it. She's also been coughing more. Totally sucks that I didn't protect her enough. I'm sorry baby girl, I'm sorry.

PS. please forgive me and my short sometimes incomplete sentences. I'm just trying to be fast and concise. Not much time to post. Thank you all for your love and comments! Love you all too!

Lindsey, I'm saying extra prayers for all of you that this cold will pass and not become anything else. Your strength is amazing to me, even when you share your hard moments I can feel your faith and love in everything you write. I love you all and you are in my thoughts and prayers everyday.

Whit & Lindsey,
Our prayers are with you. My heart is so heavy right now but it made me smile to see Jonas' trip to Disney for Make a Wish. What a wonderful thing to experience. You did an amazing job with him and gave him a wonderful life. May you find peace and comfort in the days ahead.
