We have been gone for 9 days...
Why...
Well it all started with a wish...
Make- A -Wish sent Jonas to Disneyland to see his friends again and to meet some new ones. I can't tell you how much I love to see that little boy smile and get to do things ALL DAY that make him happy.

Jonas was mailed an invitation to come and with it came his very own key to the wishing room. In the room we all made a wish for Jonas. Even our wish granters whom we just met and they made some really sweet wishes. It took all that I had to not completely breakdown and cry, just a few tears were shed.
There were some amazing lights that Jonas was very fascinated with and frankly was all he cared about. We are invited to go to this room any time we want. Wish kids are the only ones who have keys and are welcome back whenever.
Sarah, Stewart, and Jenni were more than wonderful to work with. They made things that wouldn't have happened happen and went the extra mile to make it a little more special for Jonas. The story of our life..Thank you isn't enough.
My goal..to make a new post each day about our trip.
So stay tuned!
Well it all started with a wish...
Way back in September, Make-A-Wish started planning our trip after we visited their building and made our wish. I know that some of you are thinking, "Why Disneyland..you've been there so many times?" Believe us we thought about this a lot. Of course Disney World was thought of, but it just isn't possible for Jonas to get there. Even with the help of Make-A-Wish. We brainstormed for possible "things" he would want, other places to visit and nothing else came to mind. I just know that he loves Disneyland and one more visit couldn't hurt. To be more honest, it could easily be his last. So Disneyland it was. We had at least one specific piece that we wanted to have happen while there. If you've never been, there is a night show called Fantasmic. It has the best music, lights, fireworks, Mickey, etc. all things that Jonas loves, plus he listens to the music all the time. He LOVES it! He's familiar with it and I wanted to see his face light up when he heard the music and connected it with the show. In our past visits, we've had to view it in the handicap section which is off to the side and you really do miss a lot of what's going on. So to be specific, Jonas wished to see Fantasmic front and center.
We're back now and have so much to share. It was a very special trip and I will never forget it.
I think that I will start sharing with how it started. Again, this happened in September. We went to the Make-A-Wish building, met our awesome Wish granters and actually made the wish. It's an amazing building, so beautiful. Not every chapter has such a great building to host their children. Why are we so lucky?

I can't wait to read all about it! I absolutely love the picture at the top of your blog - so beautiful, so special!
Beautiful, wonderful, amazing. Taleah was approved for a wish, but passed away a month later, before we could go to the wish room or on her trip. I am so happy to get a glimpse of someone else's wish.
We're thinking about Tab's wish, but haven't started anything yet. I really look forward to reading about Jonas's wish.
