Disneyland Day 6 part 2

What seems like forever ago, we went on Jonas' Make-A-Wish trip. We spent a week in Disneyland enjoying what was to be our last family trip with Jonas. Those memories are immensely cherished and we love looking back at pictures reminding us of those happy times.
I wish I could have posted all of our days in November when it was fresh in my mind.
I wish I hadn't had the distraction of a funeral instead.
Like Cher says, "if I could turn back time"..I would have done all of these posts at once. But you do what feels right at the time, right.

It began with a wish here. We started our trip meeting with family and receiving a special autograph here. Ended an eventful first day at the park with a very special Alice. Saw a special show here. Revisited some old and saw some new things at Disneyland here.  Seeing lots of characters this day. And sharing a very special moment with these two favorites and this guy in particular.

As I have mentioned before, Jonas had a character autograph book that we've been working on since one of his first visits. I think we were able to see almost everyone that is typically out and about in the park. Of course, not everyone, but a descent amount and at least all of the characters that he loves. We hadn't been able to see Snow White, one of his favorites. And being that it was our lucky trip...who did we see...Snow White! Yep and Jonas wasn't as excited as I thought he would be. But then again he is Mr. Shy.
And at the very last, we finally saw Donald Duck. One of the last main characters that comes out.
I'd say we did a pretty good job.
I, of course, have a list of characters we didn't see that would have liked to including..
Cruella Deville (Jonas loved her), Pocahontas, and Smee just to name some.
Maybe Maggie can snag those ones. :)
As our time was dwindling, we started doing the things that Jonas would want. So the train was in order and then we went swimming.
Do you think you should go swimming when you have to wear your Uggs outside? Well, yes if you are a true surf boy, like Jonas was. It was actually really nice outside, but it was November. We had to do the in/out, in/out so the water quickly feels warmer than the air outside. Oh, he had a good time!
After showering, getting all cozy and warm, we headed back! What a better way to end the evening than heading right back into the Magic and seeing the night come alive. I know I've said it before, but I think that was one of Jonas favorite times. In all our vacations to Disney at the end of the day, we always took a moment to sit down, breath slowly and let life pause for a minute. This particular night included a little gumbo and hot chocolate!
Good times, good times.

I've been meaning to tell you a little Elisabeth story and you mentioning Snow White, her very favorite, reminded me. So anyways, it brings tears to my eyes, when at the most random times she will say, "I miss Jonas." She didn't see Jonas often, but that sweet little boy touched her heart and she will never forget her little friend. Love you guys, give Maggie a hug from us.

The photo of Jonas looking at you is just precious. He's so lucky you are his parents.
